Where do you go from here? What are you taking from this seminar that will assist you in your church plant? How is execution more important than what you know?
Thanks for the seminar! I've learnd a lot. The Marcelli's tore me up. I am a long way from where I want to be. We go before the LA District Board Tuesday. I'm looking forward to this meeting. From there we will get into the legal process. I lined up another Bible study today. Bro Guidroz said it this way "God saves souls one at a time" That's the bubsiness we are in. We've got to love people. Bro Marcelli asked if we like people? People can be a disapointment, but there are souls out there that really need us. Lord Bless your ministry in Jesus Name!
The seminar has been helpful in many ways. Thank you for the inspiration and information! As one gospel song said, "I've been high and I've been low...", there have definitely been som highs and lows thus far on this journey, but the knowledge that we are doing something worthwhile for the Kingdom is such a great peace of mind during the most difficult of times. I am praying for every church planter and new work. May God's blessings be upon you!
All of these lessons have been wonderfully done. Thank yous for your burden of love and God given wisdom. The main focus on our part concerning this lessons is simply applying the proper execution of what we've learned.
These lessons might have been looked upon by some as some sort of trial.I have found these sessions to be a wonderful privilege to learn from people who understand where I am right now, "in our First new work", what a wealth of information I have received.Thank You!Repetition is the the only way to build muscles or even memorize scriptures so my wife and I will review many of these lessons to hid it away for the Masters use.
To comment on Brother Kenneth O'Connell. Yes I agree their are highs and lows, but remember Jesus is always with us in our "lows" in order to mold and shape us for some more highs! Thanks for your prayers that's awesome.
I have completely enjoyed these lessons. I've heard things that we are currently engaged in. I've also heard things that have inspired me to try new things. Thanks to HMD for putting this training seminar together.
It's been a "great" study track! Without queston, I will repeat some of these sessions for review. This is a great format for individual study and it's great that we can have access to this information for future reference. Thanks to all the presenters and the staff that made this possible!
I find that having a "plan" and a step by step process helps to make the time invested to be much more efficient. Bro. & Sis. Maricelli have helped tremendously in working on a strategy. Although we have already been on site, we already have a building and have been having services, this information will be a great value in "re-programing" our strategy. We may not need to completely scrap and start over, but we have definitely learned some steps that will help our future to be implemented more wisely.
Bro. Harwood, concering your comment on the "trial" ... or me it was definitely "NOT" a trial either! I agree that it was a privilege! Considering my work schedule and other responsibilities, at times I was concerned about finding time to get the work completed. But rather than a drain on my time, I found myself "wanting" to rearrange my schedule so I could get to the computer.
(aka The Sanctuary) This has been an extremely help training session and we have enjoyed the opportunity to hear from others and glen tools to assist us in planting this new church. I wish that we could have had some of these insights and lessons prior to launching our church as there would have been several areas we may have reconsidered or re-tooled prior to launch. I am grateful for the opportunity we have had to discuss each of these needed topics of study.
(aka the Sanctuary) It is vital that we are executing new ministries and building teams in our current congregation, that we consider some of the advice shared in these sessions. I appreciate the team building session as well as how we must be stewarded of the God-given abilities we have in order to effectively reach our cities with the gospel of Christ. I am inspired and thrilled to see what God can do in the next 30 days of our existence as a church.
(aka The Sanctuary) Ed Gann: Thanks for your response about Bro. & Sis. Maricelli. The process and information shared in these two lessons can be a spring board for further growth in our existing church. I am excited about the future and what God can do to equip and reach new individuals as we develop and train leaders in our church. Thanks for sharing!
@ John R - I pray that you had a great meeting with LA district and that you win several souls one soul at a time. There are definetly many souls out there that need us. You can't have the Gospel without "Go"
Execution is the bottom line. Applying what we have learned is to act upon it. Not just to hear it but to do it.. Just as James wrote, Be not hearers only, but doers of the word. The power isn't in just listening or hearing, but there is a dynamic that enjoyed when you fulfill by obedience, practice.
I have taken away the fact that planning and strategy is key to success and growth. I also see much more now the need to build leaders and a team around me. Thank you HMD for believing in us.
Thanks for a terrific seminar. I appreciate the investment of the United Pentecostal Church into church planters. Many times in the heat of the battle, it is easy to lose sight of where we are in relation to our goals and dreams. I appreciate the emphasis on evaluation, strategy and planning in these sessions.

ReplyDeleteI'm going to ask questions constantly of my mentors and these people like Tim Gaddy, Scott Sistrunk, Jerry Staten, and Wayne Huntley.
